Located in the centre of Zermatt directly opposite the Sunnegga-Paradise Ski Lift and only a 5-minute walk from the train station, the Hotel National is the only hotel in Zermatt offering exclusively south-facing rooms and a balcony in every room. A garden with a terrace and an ice bar in winter is a further feature of National Zermatt - Matterhorn Views, Sunnegga Gateway & SPA. Evenings with live music are organised on a regular basis. In summer, barbecue specialities from the region are offered every Saturday.
